Campari Soda +
What do you do when you’re in the mood for a lighter, sparkling cocktail that’s not too sweet? Normally I’d say Campari Soda. But tonight I decided to take my Campari Soda one step further and round it out with a little orange liqueur.
This super simple cocktail took a grand total of ~30 seconds to make and the resulting cocktail was just a bit rounder and (in my opinion) more interesting than the original. This may be a “real” cocktail with a name, but I couldn’t find it. So I went ahead and named it a Campari Crush.
All in all? I call it a success!

Campari Crush
This variation on the Campari Soda is just a tad sweeter, with cointreau rounding out the hard bitter edges.

Ingredients
- 2 oz Campari
- 1/2 oz Cointreau
- 5 oz Soda Water
Instructions
- Add ice to a bucket glass.
- Add Campari and Cointreau.
- Top with soda water and stir, garnishing with orange zest.
I LOVE Campari! It’s so under-appreciated, and such a treat. I found this recipe and it just called out to me “yes, this is the one.” You’re right. It’s a success. I believe you are a supreme Mixologist. Going to dig around and see what other treasures are in here! 🙂
