P2 - Classic Margarita

This Sunday is “National Margarita Day” and the folks at Casa Noble graciously sent us a bottle to help us celebrate. After quite a bit of debate, we decided there’s just no better way to commemorate the Margarita than to make the “classic” recipe.

For those folks out there with a good memory, you may recall we posted the “Tommy’s Margarita” in January. So what’s the difference?  Simple – the traditional (classic) Margarita recipe used Orange Liqueur as the sweetener, whereas Julio Bermejo of Tommy’s Mexican Restaurant decided to swap that out for Agave Nectar.

Both are great drinks and deserve a place on your “best of” list. But for today – we’re making the classic.

So don’t forget to make yourself a Margarita on Sunday – however you like it!
