A Tribute to the Less Famous…

This cocktail is a riff on the Corpse Reviver #1. (No, not its more famous sibling, Corpse Reviver #2.) We’ve replaced the Cognac and Calvados with Genever and McCarthy’s Single Malt Whiskey.

The single malt adds a beautiful smokey flavor to the drink while reinforcing the malty backbone of the Genever. Throw in a little sweet vermouth to round out the drink (and bring the ABV down too – it’s hot!)

The result is delicious, strong, and hot.

Up for the Challenge?

For the right person, this is a fantastic cocktail – but it’s definitely not for the faint of heart. Choose this one if you’re a single malt lover or someone who can’t get enough smokey Mezcal. It’s earthy, spicy and well-rounded, but if you’re up for the challenge you are in for a treat!
