(Very Loosely) Inspired by the Negroni

It’s tempting to call any spirit-forward drink with a heavy bitter element “inspired by the Negroni”, but this one really is (I promise). While missing the signature red color, this cocktail still sneaks up on you – visually hinting at a martini but packing a punch of aromatic bitter flavor thanks to 3/4 oz of Gentian Liqueur.

Don’t call me an Easy Drinker.

Boozy, sweet, herbal, bitter, tasty… this one is a lot of things but it’s not what I would consider an “easy drinker”. Not that that’s a bad thing – this one’s a perfect choice if you’re looking for something to take your time and savor.
